What is TRE®?
This is a simple technique working through a set of exercises to activate our body’s natural tremor mechanism in a safe, controlled way. Once activated, these neurogenic tremors help release built up stress, anxiety, physical tension or pain from stressful or traumatic life experiences.
What benefits can you expect from TRE®?
TRE® promotes cohesiveness and openness between those doing it, and can be used in incidents where there has been a group experience of trauma, for example at schools.
TRE® can cross cultural and language barriers because it is based on natural physiological responses shared by all human beings.
By using TRE preventatively, you can prevent chronic stress from becoming physical illness.
The initial TRE session is an hour and a half. During this session, you will learn how TRE® was discovered and understand how tremors work. You will complete an assessment and experience your first TRE® session. Subsequent sessions are an hour and a quarter.
